SAVING TIPS FOR SCHOOL OUTFITS #1: Investments

Hello everyone! It's me, Marie! In case you are not sure who I am, I did a brief introduction in my previous post which I will link here.

Anyways, I've decided to start another series called 'Saving tips for School Outfits'! Basically, these are tips and advices for you, on how to save on school outfits and for school outfits! There will be suggestions on how to spend wisely as well! I hope you'll enjoy this series!

My first tip for you, is to know what you want to spend on. Know how much you want to spend. Know what you want to invest in. How do you know what you want to invest in?

Things you don't need to change much, to match the outfit. An example: a pair of simple denim shorts or shoes.
Since you don't need change this particular item a lot to match different outfits, you would want to invest in a good one, so that they can last you for a good period of time. Lower quality ones might wear out faster. For denim shorts, you might want to get a pair of Levi's. For shoes, you might want to purchase a pair of Doctor Martens. Sure, it might seem boring to stick to only one/two pairs of shoes and a few pairs of shorts/jeans but if you know how to play around with accessories and tops, you can get your outfits to look completely different!

Switch up the style of your tops! You could get some peplum tops and you'd look slightly more formal and girly. Oh and psssst... I have some discount codes for you online shoppers so stay tuned til the end of this post;)

Another piece of advice when you're always on a budget is to save up over the year, or half the year. Everyday, throw all your change into a jar. Make sure that you're too lazy to actually take money out. Then, when your semester break arrives, start counting your money. You'll be surprised at how much you could save! Also, for those who have Paypal accounts, you could sign up to Pollbuzzer. Simply answer 1 multiple choice question and $1 will be directed to your paypal account! Easy money!! Featurepoints is also a great way to earn gift cards, so you can save on birthday gifts.

That's all for this post!:) I hope you liked it and I hope it benefitted you in some way!! Thanks so much for reading!! If you want more tips on how to save, I have tons! Lots of different websites I know where you can save!! Just lmk/tweet me;)
